A method for ensuring the stability of Switch-Mode voltage converter using an averaged continuous model of this discrete device is considered. The analysis of the scope of this method is carried out. The possibility of using averaged continuous models in the analysis of Power Electronics devices, including those containing controllers for driving power switches, is shown.
