PATHOLOGICAL CHANGES IN DERMATITIS OF SHEEP
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Carried-out analysis of epizootic situation, clini-cal picture and pathological changes in ectoparasitosis of sheep for a certain period re-vealed that the defeat of integument was character-ized by seasonality. At autopsy and pathological and anatomical survey the change from integument and internal organs was observed. Seasonal dy-namics of sarcoptoidosis in sheep was studied by personal observations of sheep population in farms, and with the use of statistical data monthly regional account and the reports of regional veterinary de-partment. In the sheep examined during the winter and spring period (January - March), the intensity of lesion from isolated cases more than 40 % was revealed. Thus we did not manage to determine any consistent pattern on the time of emergence and distribution of the disease. But authentically one was that first of all the extensiveness of defeat was caused by conditions of feeding and keeping. Systematic supervision over the process of pathol-ogy among the sheep gave the following. At the beginning of winter, in November the quantity of sick sheep gradually increased, and later the pro-cess of especially mixed invasion progressed, and it was quicker where the animals were kept more closely and crowded. Among young growth the dis-ease extended quicker, than among adult animals. Pathological processes proceeding in the integu-ment of sheep with dermatitis of parasitic origin demand deep studying and development of rational ways of treatment for ensuring fast and full regen-eration of the integument. At microscopy the dam-age of skin was revealed, and mixed invasion at systemic course was characterized by changes in lymph nodes, muscular tissue and internal organs.
