INFECTIOUS AND PARASITIC AGENTS AS POTENTIAL SOURCES OF PIG MANURE CONTAMINATION
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The aim of this work was to analyze the spread of bacterial, viral and parasitic diseases of pigs in the farms of Krasnoyarsk region, pathogens which can contaminate manure. To study the epizootic situation the analysis of the materials of veterinary reporting of results of laboratory and diagnostic tests (bacteriological, virological, and parasitological) of biological material derived from pigs during 2014. Spirochetes, causing dysentery in pigs allocated in 27% of cases, the Clostridium that causes infectious diseases enterotoxemia was detected in two samples; pathogenic strains of E. coli that cause colibacillosis was revealed in 9,2 %, and edema disease in piglets in 12 % of cases; Leptospira was detected in 7,5 %. Pathogenic streptococci (B, C, D) isolated from pathological material of pigs were in 6,3 % of cases. The porcine parvovirus was identified in 36,4 %, and circovirus was in 78,3 % of cases. Mycoplasma was identified in 25 %. The extensity of infestation by ascariasis of pigs was 8.2%, metastrongylus - 0,5%, strongulatosiss - 11,3 %, trichuriasis 67,3 %. Thus, agents which are potential pig manure contaminants are: bacterial - Clostridia, spirochetes, pathogenic strains of E. coli, Leptospira, Pasteurella, Salmonella, pathogenic streptococci and Mycoplasma; viral - parvovirus and circovirus in pigs; invasive - balantidiums and eggs of whipworms, strongest, ascarids and metastrongylus.
