In this article summarized results of treatment 130 patients with brain abscesses in different by origin groups: contact, metastatic, traumatic and cryptogenic. Achieved results allowed clarify a number important patterns, typically for process cerebral abscess formation. In particular, distinguish age groups of risk, received new data about formation of single and multiple brain abscesses. Specified indications for surgical treatment of brain abscesses with recommendation about selection methods they removal. Studied outcomes of operated patients. Identified reasons of lethality with recommendations her descension.
