ABSTRACT

The paper is devoted to peculiarities and status of students’ geometrical and graphic training (GGT) in the context of educational process’s globalization and informatization. Analysis is performed from the position of consecutive transition from an academic subject (engineering graphics) to educational process’s interactive participants, such as student – teacher – chair. Problems, positive and negative sides are revealed; their possible solutions are denoted. The emphasis is on consolidating of high educational institutions’ graphic disciplines chairs as a determining link of GGT. The conclusion is made that, under current circumstances, the type of modern professor is formed, which must possess the knowledge in informational and communicational technologies’ area, as well as be able to apply it at his professional activity. The need of educational process providing with a quality study materials, as means for students’ individual work organization and cognitive abilities formation is emphasizeds.

Несмотря на некоторую банальность заглавия данной статьи, вопрос, вынесенный на обсуждение, был и остается своевременным и актуальным, о чем свидетельствуют многочисленные публикации, материалы конференций, дискуссий, форумов. Можно, конечно, сказать, что постоянно совершенствоваться невозможно, но можно сказать и обратное: «Совершенствованию НЕТ предела!». Вот от этого тезиса нам и хотелось бы оттолкнуться и принять его за основной постулат нашей статьи. Это с одной стороны. А с другой стороны, попытаться определить резервы совершенствования геометро-графической подготовки (ГГП) студентов, увидеть скрытое и наметить пути его использования в учебном процессе.

Но прежде чем описывать то, что мы можем сделать, попытаемся констатировать то, что мы имеем. Констатировать без прикрас и модных излишеств. Это позволит нам увидеть картину такой, какая она есть в реальности, а не в материалах отчетов. Многие вопросы, которые были актуальны ранее, исчезли. Например, вопрос о возможности и целесообразности применения компьютера в графических дисциплинах. Сейчас уже назрела необходимость разобраться, что же он (компьютер) дал и что забрал и к чему привели шараханья из стороны в сторону.

Такой анализ даст возможность все поставить на свои места и определить место компьютерным технологиям и компьютерному моделированию в ГГП и так называемому «ручному черчению», т.е. по старинке — с карандашом и на бумаге.

Итак, что имеем? И что хотели бы иметь? И за счет чего и как можно достичь желаемого?

1. Инженерная графика (ИГ)

Термин ИГ мы используем как обобщенное название нашей дисциплины, наиболее часто встречающееся в учебных планах и программах вузов.

Если раньше мы дискутировали о том, БЫТЬ или НЕ БЫТЬ начертательной геометрии, то сейчас дискуссии сместились в иную плоскость, и мы говорим о том, БЫТЬ или НЕ БЫТЬ инженерной графике.

Название дисциплины «Инженерная графика» появилось в образовательных программах высших и средних технических учебных заведений в 70-е гг. XX в., когда предмет «Черчение» (условное название) переименовали в «Инженерную графику». Данный термин объединил названия нескольких графических дисциплин: начертательной геометрии, черчения и технического рисунка. И пополнился еще одной новой составляющей — компьютерной графикой, которая в структуре инженерной графики исполняла и, как ни прискорбно, исполняет еще и до сих пор роль «электронного кульмана».
